SAT

Have you tried Kaplan, Princeton Review, Elite?  I have worked at all of these companies.  There is no replacement for good one on one tutoring.  In small groups or classes it is difficult for a teacher to find out what skills you are lacking to improve your score on the SAT the most.  Even for the advanced classes they suggest less hours of class and increase the workload for students.  They offer methods to improve your SAT test taking strategy.  Guessing more and increasing probability of a higher score.  Yes, this is important, but improving your basic skills with relearning things that were in your high school curriculum properly are important to your success even more so.  If your child wants to get the highest possible score it takes planning, assessment of basic skills, time, and an individualized educational plan.
